It is probably a bit exaggerated, but after using the exalead search engine for some days I like the way results are presented and their relevance and accuracy.

The easiest way to give it a try is to install this search engine either in a bookmark or better in the integrated search box of Firefox. For this, go to the drop down menu like for another search engine selection and get to “add a new engine”, you will be redirected to a page where you will have to enter “exalead” in the search tool, until it appears in the top 10, here is a quick link. Once the plug-in installed, you can use it as your default search engine.

Personally, I like the user interface and the tools proposed on the left column. Every time you select an option, your search is refined, for example by region or on a specific interest topic.

Last but not least, they prove that new entrant on an established market is still a really good option and for this only reason, it is important to give them a try. There is not enough buz around this search engine, let’s go !
